Parent / child pages with Capoverso

I’ve created a parent page, and several child pages. I’ve set the page attributes, and checked this page https://wordpress.com/support/pages/page-options/
I’m using Capoverso theme, which shows parent/child examples on the info page, but I can’t seem to get it right.
The parent page shows on the menu (Families) but not the child pages, though I haven’t numbered all of them in the Page Attributes yet.

Hello there,
From your sites Customizer, click the Menu option, choose your menu, then choose the “+ Add Items” button.
https://wordpress.com/support/menus/#add-menu-itemsAfter you have added all the child pages, you can drag the individual pages to reorder them how you wish, but more importantly, you can move them slightly to the right under their parent page so that they are displayed as child pages. In this guide below there are arrows, but this can be done by dragging them to the right if you don’t have the arrows:
