  i have a page …….a blogging challenge…thanx wordpress…….how do i make jan 1 the parent page then the following days posts….

  Howdy,

  To rephrase, do you want the January 1st post to be the first one on your site, then the rest of them after it?

  If so, you can make the post “sticky” by clicking Edit next to “Visibility” on the right-hand side (right above the publish button), then checking the Sticky box, then clicking Update.

  After clicking “Edit” next to Visibility, it’ll look like this: https://cloudup.com/cdxq6Fr4Cue

  With posts, posts don’t have “parent” or “child” posts, since they aren’t designed to be part of a “hierarchy”.

  Another idea—if you’re keeping track of the challenge—is to add them to the same category. Our support doc about how those work is at Categories.
