Parent section under Page Attributes not showing up

    Decided to create a page for blog. Want it to be a pull down at the top and need it to be Parent/Sub structure (Restaurants Along the Way = Parent/State = 1st sub/Restaurant = 2nd sub). When I go to create a Page the “Page Attribute” section is visible, but there is no “Parent” section; only “Template”. When I previewed a test title/text, the Page shows up just like the Posts; not via a drop down at the top (or side). Help.
