Parent settings have disappeared from Page Attributes…

  Hi –
  For some reason, the Parent settings are missing from Page Attributes. Still have Template and Order options, but no field to set up the Parent/Child.

  I’ve already set one page using this function, so I know how to do it, and I know this WAS on the page… but now the Parent option is no longer included anywhere that I can fine on the Edit page.

  I’ve been working on edits all day, so I may be over-thinking, but definitely not hallucinating. :-)

  Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. FWIW – started with a the Twenty Ten theme, switched over to Twenty Eleven.

  I see you are using twenty eleven. It has the parent pulldown in the attributes module on my test blog.

  Log out, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again. It may be a corrupt cookie or cache file.

  Thanks TSP, I believe you – but still no luck. I’ve cleared out, and logged out and back in again until I’m silly, and still no Parent pulldown…

  I’ve also removed all page order info (via Short Edit) -but no luck. I many have to trash the one Child page I have right now and recreate it, then play with the page order to get something logical for a site, but that’s really not fixing the problem.

  Also, FYI – Found a similar post, different theme, at Mar 15, 2013, 12:34 PM.

  Hi, I have the same problem. Oddly, I have 2 blogs in the twenty eleven format. No problem with one but no parent/child in the other. Most frustrating and any help would be much appreciated.
