  Hi! I had a quick question regarding my site, blessedbrilliantbeautiful.com. I recently tried to log in as the administrator and instead of my site popping up, a page popped up stating the following, ‘blessedbrilliantbeautiful.com
  This page is parked free, courtesy of WordPress.com.’ I haven’t changed anything and my blog has been working fine for the last couple of months. Could you help me understand why this is happening? Thank you so much!

  Hi there,

  I see what’s going on here, the domain blessedbrilliantbeautiful.com was bought from WordPress.com back in 2016 by the user theresaannd and has been registered with us ever since. It does appear that the hosting was transferred to another provider but the domain remained with us. The domain expired on April 4th of this year and was not renewed.

  As the domain was not renewed it is currently in redemption meaning that it may be possible to get the domain back if we act quickly. However, due to the time that has passed, there is an $80 redemption fee applied by our partner register which cannot be waived.

  If you’d like to proceed with the retrieval of the domain let us know and we’ll get the process started.

  Thanks for logging in! I’ve sent a payment request for the redemption fee and domain cost to the email address on your Account Settings page and will start the recovery process by contacting our domain registrar once that has been paid.

  Please let me know if it doesn’t come through.

  Your payment has arrived, thanks. I’ve contact our registrar and I’ll be in touch as soon as I receive a reply from them — this is usually takes 1-2 business days.

  I just wanted to let you know the domain has been redeemed and added back to your account. You should be all set!
