Parked domain

  I recently purchased a WordPress domain then cancelled it the following day. It currently says ‘parked domain’ when you type in the URL. Will the URL become available again? And if so how does it usually take? I still want to use it but on a different platform.

  As mentioned multiple times during the cancellation process, there is no guarantee on when (or even if) the domain will re-enter the public market: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#cancel-a-domain-name
