Parked Domain

    Hi,

I’m new to WordPress and created my domain before I was ready so I canceled it. Now that I’m ready to activate the domain, it shows as parked and tied to another site, which isn’t the case as I’ve only had this one site that I’ve been working on. How can I get access to the domain to re-activate on my site?

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

We can still restore the domain for you. Do you want to use the domain with your WordPress.com site? I ask because you’d need a WordPress.com plan to set your domain as the primary address on your site. You can also get the domain free for the first year if you upgrade to a yearly plan.

This means there are two ways to restore the domain:

    1. Upgrade to a yearly plan at this link, and let us know once you’ve done so. We’ll restore the domain for you. This is the recommended method if you want to use the domain on your WordPress.com site.
    2. If you only want to restore the domain to use it with another host, let us know. We’ll send you a manual payment request to pay just the domain registration fee.

If you need help choosing a plan for your site, we’re here! Please tell us more about your site. What’s the site for, and what features do you need on it? Once we know more about your site, we can suggest the best plan for you.

Feel free to let us know if there’s anything else you need and we’ll be happy to help.
