Parked Domain that I would like deleted

    Hi! So I want to entirely delete my old website, and when I search for terms related to my brand, I don’t want it to appear in Google. I’ve deleted the domain name, and I’ve deleted my subscription plan on WordPress, but the site (kevinmadisonpiano.com) still appears as the first result in google when I search ‘Kevin Madison pianist’. I just want it to entirely go away so that people who search for me don’t think that my website doesn’t exist when they search for me. Thanks for your help.

    Hi there, WordPress.com isn’t in control of what appears on Google so we can’t really help with that.

    However, you can inform Google that the content has been removed and they may remove it from their search engine: https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/6349986?hl=en

    Form: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/removals

    However, once again, WordPress.com has no control over this. Hope this is resolved soon! :)

    Hey there,

    I noticed that your site has been set to private, but you mentioned you would like to fully delete it. I’d do that first by following the instructions using the link below, and then as the other volunteer said, you can contact Google to request that the site be removed from their search engine.

    Delete a Website

    Your site should generally stop appearing in Google searches about 4 – 6 weeks after it is deleted if you don’t contact Google about it first.

    The domain will completely expire some time next year. This is the process in place and it’s out of our hands.

    I can restore the domain if you want to use it again on another service now or in the future.

    Otherwise, it’s just a waiting game.

    The best option would be what has been previously shared with contacting Google to remove the site from their index all together.
