Parse Error

  • Unknown's avatar

After creating edits to the functions.php file it locked me out and provided me with a parse error. After checking with the host which is GoDaddy I was not able to access FTP in order to change the php file. I’m very certain that the page was opened with Worpress.com so does anybody have any suggestions?

The blog that is being used is ladysavant.com

    Thank you in advance.

You are in the wrong forum and need to be at WordPress.ORG. We cannot help you with that version of the software.

But if it was WordPress.ORG I would be able to access my functions.php in the FTP fixing my problem and giving me access to my Dashboard.

This is not possible to do at WordPress.com, ergo that is not a WordPress.com blog you are talking about.

Any blog hosted by Godaddy is a WordPress.ORG blog.

Ah, on the contrary when on the wp-admin page under the “Appearance” there is the another tab that says “Editor”. From there you can access php files all from within WordPress.com
