Parse Error -HELP PLEASE!
-
I was trying to update the copyright date on my website. Read a few comments from the public forums and thought I could DIY. I went into the theme editor and tried to edit the theme function, but now I cant get back in to do anything. I keep getting this
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_DEFAULT in /home/content/41/5028041/html/wp-content/themes/gdmedical/functions.php on line 44
Please Help!

That site is not hosted by wordpress.COM. Our support docs do not apply to it, and we do not provide support for it. You are posting to the wrong support forum.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
As you are referring to a wordpress.ORG software install on paid hosting, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
