Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '.', expecting end of file in /public_html/site/wp-c

  I got this error and fixed it but the error is still there. I have even uploaded a fresh functions.php on to the server but I still get the same syntax error.

  Hi @bucketrukus,

  What’s the web address of the site in question?

  This is a PHP error you’re dealing with, probably on a self-hosted site given the /public_html/ directory. I’m still learning the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, so I could be wrong. If I’m not, this question may be better suited for WordPress.org message boards. I’ll await someone with more knowledge to answer. Your reply will help clarify things, too.

  It all seems to be working now. It was odd since I left with it still broken and it worked as I came in this morning, without me making any further edits. I’ll mark this as solved for the time being. Thanks anyways though.
