Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM

I clicked update on a plugin and now my site is down, and I can’t even sign in to the back end. I just get this error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in /homepages/24/d247817817/htdocs/wren/wp-content/plugins/themeisle-companion/themeisle-companion.php on line 40
On every page that I try to look at, admin pages and public pages. The site is http://www.wrenhandman.com

Hi @wrenling,
It looks like your question has to do with a self-hosted WordPress.org product. These forums offer support for the WordPress.com suite of products. The distinction can be unclear, so you may read more about the differences if you’d like. Many of the settings of the self-hosted flavor fall out of our scope of support. You can find the WordPress.org-specific support you need at WordPress.org’s support site.
With that said, I can set you in the right direction: updating plugins causes a site to break sometimes. This post on the WordPress.org forums will set you in the right direction: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cant-login-after-wp-update/
Good luck!
Jesse
