parse php error

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/sites/cvpg.net/public_html/wp-content/plugins/adminimize/adminimize.php on line 295

    Wr cannot access our web site and have no idea what to do! Please advise

    Hi there,

    I can see your site cvpg.net is not hosted on WordPress.com and uses open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) and this forum is focused on sites hosted on WordPress.com.

    The WordPress.com and WordPress.org sites are completely different: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org

    Hi there!

    We are unable to help because we don’t host your site directly on our WordPress.com managed hosting. Instead, your site is hosted with a different provider on a separate host, and we’re unable to access your site’s backend to take a closer look. But I can get you pointed in the right direction.

    The error listed shows an error in the Adminiminze plugin. You should log into your site via FTP and remove that plugin from your /wp-content/plugins/ folder. If you’re not sure how to do that, you should reach out to your host for help. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and are the best ones to help you fix this problem.
