Part of post gone missing
-
During editing a part of a post disappeared. It happened as I saved it. How can I get it back? Help would be very welcomed…

It did not work. The post have been saved with unwanted changes. Unfortunately. That is probably it. Any other ideas?

I believe, it is related to links. It was a row of sources, that disappeared in my post. Twice now!

WOAH! how annoying. It sounds like either staff are working in the backend or gremlins have penetrated wordpress.com software. May I suggest that a tea or coffee break may be in order? ;)

And now it happened a third time. Links (sources) does not show after an edit. They disappear…

Dinnertime, I think! It is 08.22 in the evening here and I haven’t eaten yet. Thanks timechief.

It’s 11:22 AM here on the Canadian west coast and I haven’t eaten breakfast yet so, I guess I’m aiming for lunch now. :(

I managed to reconstruct my sources, so I will mark this thread as solved. I will check back to see, if others have the same problem…

I didn’t. I had to go back and go through 4 online newspapers and their whole list of headlines from today…

Save me a piece.
This sounds very much like a problem we had from a couple of weeks ago. Basically, the posts published but showed only everything up to the first time they autosaved. Everything after that was lost. The temporary workaround (until staff could fix it on their end) was to type it all out, Select All, Copy All, publish, then go back and edit and paste in the whole thing you just copied. That worked.
