Partial repetition of header image

    After I changed the Base Font size from normal to large, the top part of the header image repeats itself at the bottom of the header.

    I have tried it with different fonts, another blog of mine with the same theme, the same problem happens.

    When I changed the font size from large to huge, the portion of the repetition gets larger.

    Thanks for any idea

    Mystique and it is an older retired theme. Retired themes do not support all wordpress.COM features, therefore, the recommendation is to switch themes and that’s easy to do.

    The only themes we can use on WordPress.com hosted blogs are licensed and adapted to run on our multiuser software the themes are found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and in your dashboard at > Appearance > Themes

    Themes are just “skins” on WordPress.COM hosted blogs. You can quickly and easily change themes on any WordPress.COM hosted blog to another one found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and no data will be lost or negatively affected by the change. The only time you may have to do some work is if you are changing to a dramatically different theme and have done any CSS editing.

    Provided you are logged in as Admin under the same username account that registered the blog go to Dashboard > Appearance > Themes, Browse themes until you find one you like and click the “activate” or the “preview” link, or type in the name of the theme you want to use when it appears.

    The theme customizer https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/ provides a preview function for exactly that purpose ie. so you can view what a theme will appear like prior to changing one.

    Thank you for your reply… and adding the tags on. Often I forget to do that.

    In short: Can’t do anything about it but change theme.

    Sad. I like it because it is clean in function and appearance, both, the way it is displayed as well as its internal function.

    I am keeping my eyes open for another theme.

    Would you be able to recommend one? Simple and clean?

    Pheeoooo!

    I spent 4 hours going through the list… I discovered the filter option, which helped. Now, I could write a 4 page summary, why none of them suit me as well as the Mystique.

    For my other blogs, I use the following themes: WuWei, Yoko and twentyeleven. Are they in danger of getting retired soon?

    The Yoko is my favourite, unfortunately, it no footer option for the widgets.
