Partial solution to upload problems if you have flickr
-
I can’t insert images at all……but I can go to the flickr page where the photo is (and all my photos are on there anyway) pick the size and and copy the image URL and insert that. I don’t go to add media just add/edit image – the button that was there before.
I actually quite like the result and it’s quicker than the way I did it before.
I feel lots better now.
At least I can blog again even if I don’t have lots of choice over image size etc.
:-)
If anyone would find it useful to know what I’m talking about, give me a shout. -
Thanks for this, I’m new at this and it took my a long time and a few gray hairs trying to find a way to post multiple pictures in one post. I was really grateful to find this post.

Yes, you can use Flickr or Photobucket, although you can NOT use Photobucket for nudes.
Once the image is inserted you can control the size absolutely by going to the Image icon and typing in how many pixels you want in each direction. If you only change one and leave the other blank it’ll automatically correct to keep the aspect ratio.
Note that Flickr is a photo-sharing site and it’s more or less assumed that if you post there you’re okay with people using your images unless you specifically state otherwise. I know a copyright notice should be enough, but it’s just not: it’s assumed that Flickr is the photo equivalent of YouTube.
