Parts of Admin broken

Hi,
I have encountered this problem several times over the past week. I have logged into my Dashboard successfully, but the stats don’t load, the incoming links don’t load and when I try to go to a new post I can’t enter text into the post box. I can click in the title box. I have also gone to older posts and can’t edit the post box in those either. The widgets page for my theme is also broken. I can’t deactivate or activate widgets nor can I edit active ones. The drop down menus don’t work. I am not sure if this is related, but when I navigate to a new page from the initial Dashboard page, the drop downs at the top stop working (My Account, My Blog, My Subscriptions, etc).
I have cleared my cache, cookies, browsing history and reinstalled Chrome. I have tried other browsers and the same issue happens with all of them (Safari, Firefox, IE). I was able to click in the post box with IE this morning, but the text was white and had to be highlighted to be seen.
I am using Chrome version 6.0.472.55 beta. Is anyone else having these problems? Could it be theme related?

Others have reported this as well, and I am not aware of a solution yet. Staff is out of the office till the 19th for meetings, but they are monitoring the forums. I will tag this thread for their attention and hopefully shortly they will respond.

I’m having the identical problem as rubber7soul. No stats and no ability to add new posts. Help!

Okay, I take it back. It half worked. I was able to click in the post box and add some drafts. But, now when I go back to edit them the text is white and has to be highlighted to be seen.
The drop down menus aren’t functioning anymore and the stats and incoming links are frozen on loading again.
Sorry, I should have played with it a bit more to make sure the fix was permanent.

After reading another thread I have figured out that my problems are caused by SonicWall at my office. I have full functionality on my home computer.
The bottom two URL’s are blocked by SonicWall, so there must have been an update telling these programs that those two URL’s contain content NSFW.

Hi everybody! This is my first post on the forums. I am not sure if this issue is related only to blogs hosted on wordpress.com, but I will try to explain my situation.
One of our clients have a WordPress blog hosted on… well, a host provider. Everything was working on version 2.9.2 and then I updated it to 3.0. Ok, still no problems.
Then 3.0.1 came out, I updated, but, maybe you know this fact, the brazillian version of 3.0.1 was actually the 3.1 alpha. After detecting this, I returned to version 3.0 for some days until the brazillian team released the proper 3.0.1 version.Then the problems appeared. Parts of the admin just vanished, the drop down menus on the left don’t work, Add New Post just showed the title field and the others problems that @rubber7soul wrote.
Then I started the process of deleting wp-admin and wp-includes folders and uploading the entire previous version. I made this with WP 3.0 and problems kept. After updating (or downdating) the files to version 2.9.2, 3.0, 3.0.1 and back and forward and back and forward and now, version 2.9.2 is running with the Categories of Posts not showing the form do add a new one.

I tested the links above and all show me some CSS.
My guess (maybe a bad one) is that there is some problem with admin-ajax.php. Another information is that the HTML is not entirely loaded. The last line of the page of the screenshot is

And maybe the page is not even loaded on Chrome 6, I think it stays blank. I already tried cleaning the cache and accessing from other computers.
I really don’t know what is happening. I hope the solution isn’t delete the main WordPress folder or/and dropping the database. And the worst fact is: we have the same site running on our localhost server and it works fine. Oh boy.
