    Hello there,

First off, please follow the instructions on the about Page Visibility support page to ensure you have set up the protected page correctly on your WordPress.com site.
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-visibility/

If you have logged into a password protected page in your current browser session you may not need to enter the password again. If the page is protected you should see the word “protected” in the title.

When you look at your pages in the dashboard they also have the word “protected” in the title.
You can check your pages here:

You’re welcome! Another way to check your page is to open a private window or incognito window in your web browser. For example, with Google Chrome, you go to File, then choose New Incognito Window. Then you can go to your website and see it from the perspective of someone that is not logged in to your WordPress.com account or your site.
