Passing the web address to another blogger

  Hi,

  I signed up for a trial membership back in ’06 and never used the blog. Today someone contacted me asking me to give up the URL so she could use it. I’d like to help her but I can’t figure out how to back out of this with my identity removed entirely from the site without totally making the particular web address void. I know you must want to know the true identity of everyone using your platform so I don’t feel right about just removing my information and passing it to her.

  Is there a legitimate way for me to relinquish the website address/blog in favor of her?

  Best way is to add the person as a new Admin to the blog in question (but not required as you will see)

  Then transfer the blog to her

  Dashboard >> My Blogs >> Mouse over the blog name and click on “Transfer” – follow the instructions – and put in the account you want to transfer the blog to – TRIPLE CHECK THE SPELLING – if you spell the account wrong the staff will need to retrieve the wayward blog for you – the account does not need to be an existing user on the blog – when you click on the final “this is OK” – the blog will be transferred to the new account an you will be removed completely from the blog – like magic
