A client needs his password reset, he totally screwed it up and does not know which email the reset password is going to? Can he talk with someone?

Hello there, the reset password link will be sent to the primary email address that is registered to his WordPress.com account. Did he try to check all of his email accounts including the bulk/spam folders?
If he lost the access to the primary email address, then he’ll need to go through the account recovery process: https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/#account-recovery-form.
If he’s unable to provide any of the two required information stated in the article above, then there’s no way to get the account recovered.
