  Hi!! I need helpt with putting a password on my blog. I don’t want people to have to log in – are i able to set up a password that i can give to the one i want?

  No, you cannot password-protect an entire blog. You can only password-protect individual posts. And if they’re going to put a password in anyway, it’s easier for them to make a private blog and have them as invited Users.
