  I need help changing the password for an administrator who is no longer with the company.

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Ah. I see.

  Well, the general password reset doesn’t really work as I can’t access that person’s email. Which is why I felt like I needed to reach someone at WordPress.

  Thank you for letting me know that there was a difference between the two sites.
  Every little bit helps to get me closer to an answer!

  Well, the general password reset doesn’t really work as I can’t access that person’s email. Which is why I felt like I needed to reach someone at WordPress.

  The good news is that as long as you have access to the server control panel through your host, it is always possible to regain access to your self-hosted WordPress site.

  You can ask your host support for direct assistance in completing the steps in that article; they would be in the best position to help.
