Password change error – urgent

  I want to change my password and I keep getting this error: You’ve recently used this password. Try something new.. I am using passwords that I haven’t used before on any platform. Can you please help?

  Never mind I ended up resetting. But this is obviously not a new problem as it goes back to 2017 from what I can see if I search for it.

  WordPress should fix this glitch.

  Hi there!

  The system will recognize a password that you already used before and won’t allow you to set it as your new one. We do not know your passwords and we’ll never ask you for it so we’re not able to give you any details, however, I can recommend always using unique, randomly generated passwords for any site or app you register to.
