Password craziness??

  What is going on with the password resets?

  I entered an 8 character password, both upper and lowercase and special characters and it was rejected as not strong enough. This PW works everywhere else I use it. Has somebody gone completely nuts?

  This is a multiuser blogging platform. The security settings are tight.

  This PW works everywhere else I use it.

  That’s the problem. We never use the same p[password on multiple sites as that makes all of our accounts vulnerable to hacking.

  If you use the password at multiple sites, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s on a list that hackers buy and sell. If that list has been leaked to the public, I wouldn’t be surprised if WP.com has banned it as insecure.
