Password for my blogg

  I want to Readers to have a password for following my blogg, that I know who they are. I dont want a totally official blogg. But I dont want them to make an account for Reading.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It is not possible to have a Private blog on WordPress.com without requiring your invited viewers to register for a WordPress.com account. This is the mechanism that keeps uninvited viewers out.

  Making blog posts password protected is no guarantee of privacy since passwords can be shared with anyone at all.

  Yes. Every additional reader is another security risk.

  @rain, not sure I follow.

  If the site is marked Private and only invited followers can access the site, it wouldn’t be a security risk.

  That’s not what he wants; he wants to password protect every post. But yes, it’s also a risk when it’s a private site because anyone can copy and paste, or give his access to someone else either deliberately or accidentally. The more people you have on a site, the more likely one of them will do that.
