Password help

    Hello,

    I keep trying to change my password for my website admin log In and it continues to tell me the password is wrong when I try to log in. Now jet pack has locked me out. Please send a password reset link to my email in order for me to reset my password properly. Thanks in advance,

    Unfortunately we’re not able to help with this, as we have no control over, nor even access to, the admin password for your site. Password reset emails for your site aren’t sent from us, but come directly from your WordPress installation itself.

    The password for your admin account for that site is likewise stored in your site’s database on your hosting provider’s servers, so contacting them directly is your best bet for getting help with this – many hosts offer a way for you to reset this directly via your hosting control panel.

    Otherwise you can see the password reset instructions for your version of WordPress at https://wordpress.org/support/article/resetting-your-password/ for other methods, like changing the password directly in the database.

    For more help with this, you can also ask the WordPress.org community for advice at https://wordpress.org/support/forums, though I recommend you try your hosting provider first.
