  I have tried unsuccessfully to try to get a new password. I never receive an email.

  I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

  What is the website address you are referring to?

  However, if your site is hosted by WordPress.com, have you checked your spam folder?

  It is hosted by Go Daddy. I need to change the content so I am trying to sign in as the administrator for wordpress.

  WordPress.com has no control over sites hosted elsewhere, so your hosting provider may be able to help you in this regard.
