password help

I have an account with word press as a general account (log in sney1958). I have recently started helping a friend at Lunch Time Prayer for Israel and she set up a log in of Sharon and password for me onto her Word Press account. The password did not work. I have since asked 6 times for a new temporary password but have received nothing. Does her account conflict with my general account–is that why I have not gotten a new password for her account page? I can’t work for her without this password. I would like to actually talk to someone but there is no apparent way to do this… I need this resolved. I also have a Word Press account under another email address for another site. How can I work all three separately?

You can use only one account to manage all your WordPress.com sites. I see now that you have only one, at “doodle121458.wordpress.com”. As @timethief said, we need more information about your friends account to be able to help you with this. Could you give us the site address and/or the email from the other account?

Thanks Carina, I know nothing about email account at wordpress.com. I signed up for wordpress to join a friends blog site using my hotmail address. Later I used my gmail address to join our chaplain site at church. I since have started working with a friend to edit her site posts and she used my hotmail email address to give me ID/Pwd to her site. The PWD did not work and so I asked for another one but never got a response after 6 requests. Since then my work friend has given me another PWD and that is working. I personally have no URL or wordpress.com site. I am just logging in to friend’s sites to help them or enjoy their posts. Thanks for help…I can now do the work she needed thanks to her generating another password for me.

I don’t remember her wordpress site URL…I don’t even think she has it active anymore. My initial struggle was that the password i was given for work didn’t work, I requested a new one 6 times and never heard back. I since have been given a new password so I can work– the issue is resolved.

Thanks Carina, should I ever create my own site I will have that info. Right now I am doing editing for a friend as I mentioned, the first site I joined isn’t active. As long as I can work I am good–thanks for all your help :)

The good thing about that link I posted, is that if you create another site for you in the future, you can ask your friend to add your user (sney1958) to his site. Doing that, you can manage both sites, yours and his, with your account. So, you don’t need to log out and log in with a different account, all will be in the same place. :)
