Password incorrect over and over

    My blog keeps having this occur as I’m working in it. It will suddenly ask me to log in again and then say my password is incorrect. I reset it and log in and it happens again.

    Hello there, Susan,

    Please tell me — when you are asked to log in, what action are you trying to take? Are you in the midst of create a new page or post? Or, are you trying to comment on someone else’s site? If you could give me some more details about what is happening the moment the problem occurs, that would be a great help.

    Also, please make sure you are completely logged out of WordPress.com. Then, go to http://WordPress.com and try to log in again. Let me know what happens when you try to log in. Are you taken to your Reader? If so, how are you getting to your site?

    I see that you’re using Firefox. If you try to work on your blog in Chrome, does the same issue occur?

    Thanks for your suggestions. I cleared the cache in both Firefox and Chrome and reset the password again. It seems to be better now. It was happening while I was editing a post. Especially when I tried to switch to the new view.

    But there are other weird things too. If you go to the newest post, you will see the quote marks are different in the title. And I am having trouble getting the editor to work and stay in Text mode and recognize HTML.

    Any thought son that. Thank you so much for your help.

    Susan,

    Have you considered shifting from the outdated version of your theme, Misty Look, to the updated version, Misty Lake? I am wondering if the retired version of the theme isn’t as stable as the new one.

    If you’d like to give it a test, go ahead and update. If you hate the changes, you can revert.
