Password Issue

  I have done the unthinkable, completely forgot my own blog Admin passsword. To top that off it’s my blog, my site.. OOo that hurts!

  Okay then, is there a way to reset the default login info for the admin? I understand I may have to edit some php but am not sure which file needs to be edited. I can ftp access the blog files. I just hate to have to reinstall the whole blog and lose all the messages that have been posted. This is a personal blog and no one else but me posts on it..

  If you are talking about a self-hosted installation of WordPress (and it sounds like you are), you are in the wrong forum. This forum is for blogs hosted at wordpress.COM and we use different software here. Head over to http://wordpress.ORG/support/
