Password issue

  So I don’t have access to the email address and I forgot my password for the other account. I don’t have any ‘proof of ownership’ so I’m unable to submit the form. I have the facebook and tumblr that the blog is linked to. Is there any way of getting access to that account? (or, at the very least, deleting it so i can get back my URL)

  Hi there –

  The only way to recover the account is through the Account Recovery form.

  If there was an upgrade on that account, like a custom domain, you can retrieve the PayPal transaction id and recover the account that way: https://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal-transaction-id/

  I never upgraded the account or paid for anything on it.

  Since I have access to the facebook and tumblr it’s connected to, is there any way to reverse prove that it’s my account? Or at least get the domain name back?

  We are not able to restore an account with Facebook or Tumblr credentials. We will need to verify proof of ownership with one of the methods listed in the Account Recovery form.

  Is it possible for you to gain temporary access to the email address on the account?
