Password lock out

    Hi,
    I’ve just tired to open up my wordpress account for the first time in over 24hours and got an immediate account lock out notification for too many failed log ing attempts. The only thing is i haven’t attempted to log in and i know my password. Does this mean someone has tried to access my account?

    Hi @sallydc2017, can you clarify whether you had that issue while logging in as “sallydc2017” at WordPress.com, or whether you ran into that with your own installation of WordPress with another host?

    We don’t see any suspicious activity on our end, but we don’t have access to the server logs at Net Logistics (who seems to be your hosting provider.) If you’re concerned, can you get in touch with them?
