Password protect an entire site, please
-
I’ve seen several questions about whether a WordPress.com site can be password-protected at the site level, and gather that this option is not currently possible. I know I can password-protect individual pages, or make the site private for invited viewers only. However, I don’t want viewers to have to create WordPress accounts to be able to view the site — for our particular situation that is not practical.
So I would like to add my name to the chorus of people requesting this feature. I have one public WordPress.com site and I’m very pleased with that. This second (member-only) project is going to have to wait until I can find a way to password-protect at the site level. Thanks for listening!
