Password protect is not working

    I protected a post (as usual) with a password.

    My subscribers are not able to access the post

    I do not like this new editor.

    I go to classic editor and still — password protect does not work!

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there, your subscribers would need to enter the password to see a password protected post.

    Was that your intention, and if it was, what is happening instead?

    Regarding the classic editor. it is being phased out, You can still use /wp-admin currently, but if you’re running into issues with blocks, it will be helpful to hear about those now so we can work on addressing them.
