password protect subpages

  Hello,

  I am new to wordpress and have question.
  I have a page in my blog which is password protected. This page has a number of subpages and also downloadable files (documents).

  I would like to make sure that the sub-pages and files are also password protected.

  How can I accomplish this?

  Each page will have to be protected separately.

  OK I understand. How about the downloadable files? I have not found a way to password protect them.

  As husdal said each page and sub-page must be password protected. If you have the download files in password-protected pages then you could require readers to email you to get the password.

  yes I understand that, however, even if the files are in password protected pages, it is possible to enter the link to the file in the browser and by-pass the password. Of course, this would require the user to know the path to the file, but I just didn’t find that to be so secure.
