Password protected

  I want my blog to be password protected. I think I had it right to start with but now it doesnt work. When you go to my blog I want people to have to use a password to actually see it. And I dont want them to have to get a wordpress account.

  Thank you. But I still don’t think that is what I am looking for. With that privacy setting option it looks like I have to invite people= know their emails and send my address to them?

  What I want is to just give my family and friends the address and a password, and when they type it in they will come to a page where they have to use the password to access it. Is that not possible?
