password protected cv appears in google search

my password protected cv appears in google search, it is available as a pdf, how is this possible
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Has this document always been behind a password protected page, or was it publicly available for any period of time? If it was public and then you later changed it to private, Google may have indexed it during that time.
You can request that Google remove it from their cached pages here:

Thank you so much for your interest and prompt replies.
I could not verify my site with google procedures.
I registered a request to have outdated info removed from another’s site, gave the url; reason for removal: info is now password protected -google says it is pending.
Can only wait and see.
oh and yes, maybe when I first posted my cv it was NOT password protected.
Once again thanks for your direction. -
It sounds like we may have solved the mystery.
I have an idea for now. Please upload the CV again, so it has a new file name, and link to that in your private post. Once you’ve done that, let me know, and I can purge the old file from our system entirely. That should cause the Google link to return a 404 relatively quickly.

Hi there
Thanks for your consideration
.. as of 19:50hrs 27 Feb 2014 -I have now uploaded a new file with a different name and the file is set to password protected.
Many thanks -
Hi there again
I have since tried to edit my post with the newly renamed cv file, so that it is password protected but where I have added my cv into the body of the post still allows unlimited access!
So i have removed the post entirely for now. What am I not doing wrong?
I would like the facility for prospective employers when they look at my wordpress profile to be able to view my cv with a password. -
I’m not sure I understand what you mean by:
where I have added my cv into the body of the post still allows unlimited access
If you can explain what you mean, I should be able to offer further guidance here.
Please note that files themselves have no password protection, but if they are not linked publicly, they should not be visible to anyone without access to the page from which they are linked, and Google shouldn’t find them.
No one should be able to view your password-protected page without the password.
Please let me know the name of the file(s) in your Media library that you wish for me to delete and I will take care of that for you.

Hi there
Apologies for the dumbo factor involved here, I’ve gone back to my site 30 mins later and every thing is working as it should with the new file.
But the search by searching google “paulwilmore”
giving me( http://paulwilmore.files.wordpress.com/2012/11/pw-cv_resume_links.pdf )
.. still finds the cached pages, but I reckon your measures will take a that will take a few days to work. Many thanks

I haven’t yet deleted anything because I need to confirm first what should be deleted.
I see a new file that you just uploaded. However, there appear to be three CV/resume files uploaded on Nov. 6, 2012. Would you like me to delete and purge all three of those files, or if not, which ones? Once I have deleted them, I will not be able to recover them later so I need to make sure that I only remove the ones you want me to remove.
-
Thankyou for your enduring patience.
The current file cv-pw is working fine, all others can be deleted. If some of the file names have been duplicated so as to confuse which is the current file then please delete all of them and I will upload a renamed file at a later date.
Many thanks
Regards Paul -
I believe I have deleted all of the files other than your most recent one. This should cause a 404 page to appear if anyone goes directly to the file link.
You may need to clear your browser cache to make sure you’re not loading the file from your cache: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache
If you find anything else that needs to be removed, please let me know.
