password protected page

Hi ~ I have created a password protected page. When I try to log in the page won’t open. I know the password is correct. I have cleared my cache, restarted my computer, changed the password, used different browsers, and worked with my hosting provider. He can log in but I cannot. I have asked other people to try and log in and they cannot either. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem could be? Thanks!

We won’t be able to help you here as your site is not hosted on WordPress.com.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
