password protected page issues

  Hi! I have set a few of my pages to password protected so they should only be available to those with the password, but they still appear visible to the public… how do I get this to work?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi helen299518939,

  northcornerhaven.com is a WordPress.org site hosted by Digital Ocean rather than WordPress.com. There is some information about the differences between the two, here:

  We are only able to help with WordPress.com sites but support for self hosted sites is available on the WordPress.org support forums:

  I have a password protected side on my site swefreddy.com but I don’t want the text (in Swedish) to be visible “LÖSENORDSSKYDDAD” (PASSWORD PROTECTED).

  How can I remove the text?

  It should be possible to hide that text using custom CSS, or by editing your theme’s files directly. But your site is also not hosted with us on WordPress.com, so we are not able to help with that in this forum. Please post in the WordPress.org forums linked in the reply above instead.
