password protected pages and subpages
-
I’d like to organize some static content on multiple pages but need the content to be password protected. I don’t want the user to have to enter the password every time they open a new page.
If I create subpages under a parent page and password protect the parent page – would that one password protect all the subpages as well? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi !
Parent/Child Pages is useful for setting up breadcrumbs and make the URL more SEO friendly. If we had a parent page called photography and a child page named portraits, the address would be yourblog.wordpress.com/photography/portraits instead of yourblog.wordpress.com/portraits.
In your case, you’ll need to password protect every page you make.

I want to do the same thing as jwilliamsatgrace, essentially creating a members-only section. It’s clear to me how to make parent and child pages as francisbob suggests, but not clear why the password protection set for the parent page doesn’t apply to the child (or subsections) pages. Is there a way to do so?
Thanks
