Password Protected Pages Will Not Resolve
-
I can’t get password protect to work on FF (PC) or Chrome or Safari (Mac). Might it be my theme (Titan by The Theme Foundry)?
The pswd protected page renders with a pswd box, but after typing the password and clicking submit, the page goes into broken-record mode …. “waiting for ….” THEN
* FF/Safari -> blank (white) page
* Chrome –> reports

OK – I just tested pswd protection on a different blog with a different theme and it worked fine. Is this simply a poorly designed theme? I thought themes available here had been vetted by WP guys.

Grrr. Changed theme (zBench by zwwoooo) and still no joy in Chrome. RE cookies, they are at defaults (Allow local data to be set (recommended))
However, page does now render in FF and Safari (Mac). No idea what will happen with MSIE, but this is very poor performance.
