Password Protected post

    Hi there. I had a password protected post, after publishing it and not giving the password to a single soul, I went to my stats an hour later and saw that the post had 28 views. How is it possible that people could have viewed the post?

    Hi there!

    The stats will record visits to the post even if it’s just people viewing the “enter password” page. So you do not need to worry, it does not mean others were able to see your protected post.

    You can test that by accessing your site when logged out or from an incognito window.
