  Can WordPress people view posts that have passwords attached to them?

  By “wordpress people” do you mean Staff? Staff can view everything.

  Yes, I meant staff. So I take it that if I password protect a post with a strong password before even publishing it, wordpress staff people can still view it?

  Yes, support staff have an access to saved drafts that are set to private.
