Password protecting an entire blog?
-
Hello!
I’m looking to password protect my entire blog–and upon searching for how to do that, found this page: http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/07/can-i-password-protect-my-whole-blog/
However, there are only the two following options in my privacy settings:
1. I would like my blog to be visible to everyone, including search engines (like Google, Sphere, Technorati) and archivers
2. I would like to block search engines, but allow normal visitorsAnyone know how I can access the option about making the blog visible only to users of my choosing?
Thanks in advance!

That’s because you have a self-hosted blog. For assistance, you need to go to http://wordpress.org/support/

In the “publish” section to the right of the text area, click on the edit link next to “visibility: Public” and you will be able to password protect the post there.
