Password Protecting part of a page

  I would like to password protect protect part of a page. I have seen posts on other blogs that have some if it open and the rest password proteted. Is that possible with pages?

  When you are in the edit page section, down towards the bottom there is an option in a dropdown menu that is titled “password protect this page”. That will be where you set up the password for just that page. I’m not sure if that answers your question or not, but other than that I think it just has to do with the individual blog post settings that are up to you.

  You cannot password-protect just part of a page or post on WordPress.com: it’s everything or nothing at all.

  ok. i must have been mistaken for seeing part of a post password protected. :(
