Password Protection

  I am trying to figure out if I can password protect the entire blog itself or if I can only have the option of protecting pages and certain posts.
  Is this possible??

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can set the entire blog to Private at Settings -> Privacy in your Dashboard.

  This will allow only WordPress.com users that you approve to see it.

  However I would like to be able to have visitors (non WordPress Users) who have the password be able to enter without having to be a user.

  Unfortunately, in that case you would need to have a public blog with ever post and page password protected.
