Password Protection – Multiple Passwords & Expiry

  I have a website that i’ve made that I want to make password protected, with the ability to make multiple passwords for different people to view it, that all expire after a certain amount of time. I don’t want them to be users that can login using the credentials, just rather the ability to login to see the website.

  I added Password Protection and Expire Users plugins, but I haven’t quite figured it out.

  Would I be able to make a User Account with an expiry password, and then somehow apply that to login to the website?

  Help!

  On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com, and what you’re describing is not possible on WordPress.com.

  If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please ask for help at https://wordpress.org/support/forums instead, or if you’re using a specific plugin, contact support for that plugin directly.

  Hi @danielmcquade7380, that site is with GoDaddy, and as my colleague mentioned, these forums are actually for the sites here at WordPress.com, which is different than what you have as your own WordPress installation.

  I’d recommend checking the support forum here:
  https://wordpress.org/support

  Or check in with your plugin developers to see if that’s an option that’s already available.
