password protection – posts
-
I tried to password protect a post. I changed the visibility to password protected and entered the password and updated the post. When I went back into the web site and tried to open the post and enter the password, nothing happens. Not sure what to do?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there,
This thread is flagged for Staff attention. Please be patient while waiting. -
Hi – I was able to log in using your password and view the post fine, both in IE9 and Firefox.
Would you please try a different browser such as Firefox or Chrome, and let me know if you have trouble there, to rule out a browser issue? If you are able to view it in a different browser, could you please try clearing your browser cache and cookies and let me know if that helps?

I have used a template in word press to create an interactive website for a project I am managing but want it to be only accessible to those who I invite – or give the password to – I can see how you make the individual pages password protected but not sure how you make the whole site pass work protected – can you please advise me.
Thanks -
If you haven’t set your blog as private: on your dashboard menu, go to Settings -> Reading -> “Site Visibility” and check ” I would like my site to be private, visible only to users I choose”.
Then, invite people to your private blog: here’s the support page. Maximum of 10 people per email invitation, I think.
