Password recovery

  Hello,
  I am unable to log into my wordpress blog account as I have forgotten my password. Trying the ‘lost password’ option gives me the following message: ‘The email could not be sent.
  Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function.’

  I changed my password using the following link: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword&login=&error=invalidkey

  however, the new password is still shown as incorrect.

  Also, when I logged into my wordpress account and clicked on the ‘write’ option next to my profile (top right corner, it says that I have no wordpress sites. I don’t understand this as I do have a blog created using wordpress.

  The error “your host may have disabled the mail() function.” is going to be from a site other than WordPress.com. What’s the blog you need help accessing?

  It sounds like you actually need help with a WordPress powered site not on this hosting company. If so, the support will be at https://wordpress.org/support
