Password recovery email not sending
-
I have tried numerous times to recover my login for this site with the “lost password” button, however it’s not showing up in either of my email inboxes. I’m wondering if this site was never attached to an email address.
Any input is helpful as I’m trying to transfer this site to my client! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Not sure why the link here doesn’t include “/client”, but the site is not just “.me”. Should be http://makaelawilkie.me/client
-
I am seeing this issue as well – the recovery email never arrives. I’ve checked my spam folder as well.
-
And BTW I’m posting this from my personal WP login.. the login in question is for my business. Either way, the central problem is that no recovery email or “forgot password” email is sent.

Hi there,
Good morning. I hope you’re doing great.
Did you refer to makaelawilkie.me as the website where you’re experiencing the issue? If so, it looks like you’re using self-hosted WordPress, not WordPress.com.

Hey Faisal – in my case, I am not using a self-hosted WordPress version. I did buy the domain through GoDaddy but have a login for WordPress.com. The issue comes from when I try to recover my login from WordPress.com – no recovery emails are sent from it.
